Eh, this profile is very old. I'll be making a different one to act as a temporary portfolio if any are interested. It could most likely be found at :iconkingBoni:. And I also have to say... Damn. dA is being very sluggish.

The Battle for Middle-earth is about to begin.

So I'm in a contest for a Lord of the Rings Online VIP code. Essentially this means a code that will flag my application to their Beta as important, increasing my chances of being accepted by Turbine during their next phase of Beta invites.

The site holding the contest can be found here. There's a variety of contests... Most notable are the Photoshop and Caption contests because they're judged every week (And up to 3 from each can win a code). I believe I can at least win in the Photoshop or Wallpaper contests. My last entry in the Photoshop Contest did not win for some unforeseen reason... So I'm going to try much harder.

We'll see.

Sex and Hurricanes.

I know what you're thinking. But alas, I don't think I could convince or swoon any lucky lady to participate in procreation during a hurricane despite how fun I think it would be.

No, this journal entry is more about the two topics in their own separate light.

Firstly, sex. Or gender, perhaps. I'm more or less writing about my two recent works dealing with the anatomy of the blade and the chalice. For those of you who didn't notice it the first time around, I tried a bit to interconnect these two pieces.

The female one, as you can see, deplicts a drawn in... Closed sort of conception. Her hands are clasped behind her back, out of view. Legs crossed and her hair secluding one side of her face.

The male has his arms spread--He reflects the outwardness that his relative sex always tends to present. And I should know.

Those are just some of my own thoughts for your pleasure, I guess. In and out. Hidden and free. There's many details I tried to convey in this new style of mine on both of those pieces. Many people might sense the Ying and the Yang of them, I think. I hope.

On to hurricanes. Today is the eve of the supposed touchdown of this new storm brewing right under Florida. It's one of the reasons I drew 'A Storm is Coming' last night. I can't really judge how strong this storm will be but the power will inevitably go out, I bet. Wish me luck.

Also, what's up with the usual thumbnails? They're not functioning on Anatomy and Anatomy 2... It appears that all new submissions today are getting that treatment. Hrmph.

The Monotone Reprise.

Indeed, as you can see, I have a new style developing here. I think it has served me well... I must admit that I "adopted" it from a good man; Rarebit, a developer of the Matrix Online. But I've found it to my extreme liking. Having never figured out brush strokes and what-not with Photoshop and how to color correctly, I believe it is very suitable.

I've always dealt things in black and white. Well, at least within my head I have. Some people are quick to judge upon such a description, but they're wrong to think so. To think in black and white is to think in shades. Everything to the eyes are based on light, absence of light, and reflection... Different wavelengths and spectrums--they are merely thrown into the battle of light and dark.

I like to believe that when you're dealing with black and white that you're dealing with fact. The funniest thing about fact is that everyone can form their own opinion about it. So when you're handling fact... Maybe you're really handling fiction. The same applies in reverse. It's a reflection. Notice how I've stated that word twice.

What people deem to be real is figuritive. What people seem to think is not real is indeed a real thought. When one dips into this... Real and unreal discussion... Then they're dealing with black and white. And they interconnect and merge constantly in their unseen war.

Whoa, what the Hell...?

Hey, hey, hey... I'm actually liking this format change here.

Let me see this...

Huh. Well, that doesn't work. Maybe this?
